If it´s cracked you can move it
In November 2012 Sven Kacirek, Agnieszka Krzeminska, Byung-Jun Kwon and Andi Otto created a sound / video installation based on the Nutcracker Production by Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft.
The music has been divided into four groups of instruments: Piano; Percussion / Bells; Marimba; Vibraphon.
It has then been performed and recorded by Sven Kacirek.
This material is played back simultaneously in the public space, in four stations facing each other, each of which is “guarded” by a nutcracker.
Only in the proximity of a listener, the nutcracker will gradually make the sound of audible.
The setup invites for an exploration of the musical material through movement.
