Back from Mukunguni Village
Stefan Schneider and Sven Kacirek are back from Mukunguni Village. They did some unique recordings with the band of master drummer Salim Mwatela. Contrary to “The Kenya Sessions” Stefan and Sven won t add any overdubs at all. The record will come out in 2012.

German Record Critics honors “The Kenya Sessions”
The “Preis Der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik” honors “The Kenya Sessions”. Sven Kacirek, Ogoya Nengo, Owino Koyo and all the other Kenyan Musicians, Pingipung and the Goethe-Institute Nairobi are sharing the award with the great album debut of Nicolas Jaar.
