After the release of ‘Shadows Documents’, Gunther Buskies, the managing director of ‘Bureau B’ Records, asked me if I would be interested in working on an EP together with Thomas Klein, the drummer of Kreidler’. Of course I was. We played a few gigs together to promote the album. Although I like the songs on the EP, the live set didn’t turn out well. In hindsight, I wish we had just gone on stage with 2 drum kits and improvised for an hour and a half. I think that approach would have worked much better. I think we were both ‘lost in the equipment’ the way we performed.

My favourite track:
Steyn
