The Palmin Sessions
The first solo album will always be a special one. After working with musicians and producers from Hamburg in the early 2000s, I decided to make an album all by myself. I was still very much inspired by electronic music. Jan Jelinek was a strong influence during that time. However, I wasn’t keen on using electronic equipment. I tried to find a similar aesthetic by playing with brushes on glass, paper and so on. It was during this time that I started playing the marimba, which has since become my main instrument.
