Two days ago I came back from Okinawa. Together with Mina Mermoud and Agnieszka Krzeminska we met with many great musicians of Okinawa, Miyako, Ishigaki and Taketomi Island.
It was like a dream. I have never met so many nice people in such a short time. And the landscape is unbelievable. I have never felt so comfortable in a foreign country. I really hope to come back to Okinawa one day…
We did recordings with Tetsuhiro Daiku, Mr. Tonohara , Keiko Kina and Mr. Arakaki just to name a few.
Together with Mina Mermoud I will work on a new record that will combine our type of music with the Okinawa recordings.
